Do you struggle with feeling confident to ask for what you’re wanting or needing in your life? Does it seem too much to go to work, eat, and catch a break from the countless worries that run through your mind? It may be that self-doubt, emotional pain, and worry about the future seem unbearable these days.

You may know that you want to change your career, start or end a relationship, deepen friendships, or ask for a promotion at work but aren’t quite sure how to do this without worrying about feeling rejected or judged by others.  It may feel safer to avoid others but you end up feeling isolated from loved ones, your values, and your purpose in life.

Approach to Therapy: Dr. Ballardo provides talk therapy and creative art therapy with adult clients.  She enjoys helping others explore their identity and to accept all parts of themselves by acknowledging how life experiences may influence the way they think, feel, and behave. She helps adults increase confidence, live in accordance with personal values, and challenge fears of social judgment that may be driving anxiety. Self-acceptance can be a key ingredient to bringing positive change into one’s life and therapy can help support you in the process of building a strong sense of self!

Dr. Ballardo has provided psychological services to adults in inpatient psychiatric hospitalization, Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP), Intensive Outpatient Hospitalization (IOP), residential treatment, community mental health agencies, and private practice.
